Dream journal 26/11/2024

Last night I had a dream that I had schizophrenia. I was out with some people I know and then I started hallucinating and when I got home I got green mouldy patches on my face and I was rotting away and I thought it was real but it wasn’t because I had schizophrenia. I also saw people that didn’t actually exist and I saw myself in a distorted way, sometimes weird figures would appear in my room and sometimes I’d be outside but then suddenly appear in a different place like at home. Suddenly the hallucinations would end and I would see things normally again, since I was schizophrenic I thought I was dead because when I looked in the mirror I looked like a rotting corpse but no one else seemed to know what I was talking about. Then it stopped and I looked normal again. The dream felt a little bit too real. I’m glad I woke up and I’m not actually schizophrenic. This really felt like I had it and I feel sympathy towards people who suffer with it. It felt like a dream in another dream.
